This year, Victor has been given serious news, he only has a short time to live. The one thing Victor wants is build a relationship with his adult son; the only thing Jonathon wants is to create something that would make his father proud. Jonathon, a passionate misunderstood artist meets Ben, a hopeless romantic who adores him. Ben does not understand the work that Jonathon is doing but provides him with all support he can offer. The boys hope to marry one day but find conflict in the wishes of Jonathon’s father. Are their differences going to drive the three of them apart, especially when Victor has such a short time remaining?

The Last Tale Book & Lyrics by Wendy Waters, Music by Shanon D Whitelock
It has been seven years since Scheherazade, the famous storyteller of the Arabian Nights, told the last of her 1001 tales to her murderous husband, King Sharia, Caliph of Baghdad. Her fame is now legendary and she outshines her husband. His jealousy prompts him to arrange her execution but his plans are foiled when her executioner abducts her instead and takes her into the desert where they will begin a brand new life. However the people demand her rescue and forced to comply, the King chooses the most incompetent volunteers, ensuring the Queen is never found.
THE LAST TALE has received a number of readings and song performance developments.
